On September 7, 2019, the 407 Overhaul Commando (operating five-value), composed of some youth league members of the general branch of the four operating regiments,
closed the communication valve between the water systems of the relevant safety plants of Unit 4 as planned. In the past, due to the large number of valve laps and the humid
environment of the underdrain area, after the operation was completed, the entire coat of the person who operated the valve was often wet with sweat. This overhaul
introduces electric auxiliary tools for valve operation, which can drive the valve to rotate through the built-in motor. With the aid of good tools, those large valves that were
time-consuming and labor-intensive in the past were easily taken down, which greatly helped the operation to proceed more safely and orderly.
